Sioux Falls, SD – The NBA G League announced that Miami HEAT two-way player Alondes Williams has been named to the 2023-24 All-NBA G League First Team.

He becomes the seventh player in Skyforce history to earn All-NBA G League First Team honors and the first since Keith Benson in 2016-17.

Williams averaged 20.3 points on 49.8 percent from the field, 5.3 rebounds. 7.1 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.6 blocks per 37.4 minutes a game in 43 appearances for Sioux Falls between the Showcase Cup and regular season.

He broke the Skyforce single game scoring record (55 points on Jan. 7 vs Salt Lake City), represented the NBA G League and Skyforce at All-Star Weekend (Rising Stars and G League All-Star game), earned a two-way contract with the HEAT, and was NBA G League Player of the Month for January. His play helped Sioux Falls earn back-to-back playoff spots for the first time since 2014-16, as well.

On Apr. 5, he was named the 2023-24 NBA G League Most Improved Player. Williams saw an eight-point uptick in points and over four-more assists per game compared to his rookie season in 2022-23. He joined Gabe Vincent (2019-20) as the only players to earn NBA G League Most Improved Players in Skyforce history.

Jason Preston of the Salt Lake City Stars, Mac McClung of the Osecola Magic, Kenneth Lofton, Jr. of the Salt Lake City Stars and Oscar Tshiebwe of the Indiana Mad Ants were also named to the All-NBA G League First Team, as well.
