SKYFORCE SET TO WEAR NEW SPECIALITY JERSEYS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH SOUTH DAKOTA FCA

By Sioux Falls Skyforce Staff /November 28, 2022

Bidding for game-worn FCA jerseys is now live on The Players Trunk

Sioux Falls, SD – The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that the team will wear specialty jerseys for the first time during the 2022-23 season, partnering with the South Dakota Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Sioux Falls will sport the newly crafted uniforms during their matchup with the Wisconsin Herd on Sunday, December 4 at 3PM.

Skyforce players will be donning green and blue jerseys with a yellow and black line across it, which represents the Flag of Tanzania. Inside the black stripe is also a lighter gray giraffe pattern, as the giraffe is very famous and recognizable in Tanzania. On the back of the shorts, “Unity is Strength” is in text, which is a very popular phrase in the country.

Uniform Proceeds will be going to Fellowship of Christian Athletes’ Ministry in Tanzania, which is South Dakota FCA’s adopted ministry. Daniel Laiser, who grew up in Tanzania before discovering FCA in Iowa as an exchange program student, now leads FCA’s ministry in Tanzania. Laiser will attend the game on Saturday, as well.

These jerseys can be bid on online in advance of the game by visiting https://theplayerstrunkauction.com. Fans must register on the new theplayerstrunkauction.com to place bids. You will not be able to place a bid until you have been verified, so please register ahead of the game to ensure your eligibility.
