Skyforce Reacquires Landon Kirkwood

Sioux Falls, SD – The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that the team has reacquired Landon Kirkwood from the available player pool via roster hardship.

Kirkwood, a 6-5 205-pound guard from Barry University went undrafted in the 2022 NBA Draft. He spent the 2022-23 season with the Skyforce after being drafted with the sixth pick of the second round of the 2022 NBA G League Draft. He averaged 5.7 points on 35.9 percent shooting, 2.9 rebounds and 0.8 assists per 17.6minutes in 30 appearances. He also spent 2023 training camp with Sioux Falls, as well.

Prior to his professional career, he spent five collegiate seasons between Cal State Fullerton, Broward College and Barry University. In his final collegiate season at Barry, Kirkwood averaged 10.8 points on 46.9 percent shooting, 6.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists per 23.7 minutes a game in 27 appearances.  

Kirkwood is expected to be available for tonight’s contest at the Motor City Cruise (6:00 PM CST).
