SKYFORCE ANNOUNCE 2026-27 COACHING STAFF

Sioux Falls, SD – The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced their coaching and basketball operations staff for the 2026–27 season. Head Coach Mario Casamajor will be joined by Assistant Coaches Remy NDiaye, Norris Cole, Nate Wilson and Darius Johnson-Odom. Brett Gurka will serve as Video Coordinator, and Richardson Paquiot will serve as Director of Basketball Operations.

NDiaye joins the Skyforce after six seasons with the Miami HEAT, including two seasons as a Player Development Coach. He joined the HEAT as a Player Development/Video Specialist for the 2020–21 season after three seasons with the Philadelphia 76ers. NDiaye began his coaching career as a Graduate Assistant Coach at his alma mater, Dallas Baptist University, where he served for two seasons.

Cole played six NBA seasons with the HEAT, New Orleans Pelicans and Oklahoma City Thunder. He won back-to-back NBA championships with Miami in 2012 and 2013 and later played in the NBA G League and overseas.

Wilson returns for his sixth season as a Skyforce Assistant Coach and 14th season overall with the organization. The Sioux Falls native joined the team in 2013 and has served in several roles, including Video Coordinator.

Johnson-Odom played collegiately at Marquette, where he earned All-BIG EAST First Team honors in 2012. Selected in the second round of the 2012 NBA Draft, he played for the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2012–13 season and later appeared for the Philadelphia 76ers. He also played in the NBA G League and internationally in countries including China, France, Greece, Iraq, Italy, Romania, Russia, Turkey and Mexico.

Gurka joins the Skyforce after spending more than a year as a Video Room Intern with the HEAT. In that role, he assisted with game footage analysis, scouting reports and Summer League preparation. He also interned in the basketball department at Creative Artists Agency and graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Sport Industry.

Paquiot returns as Director of Basketball Operations after taking over the role last season. He previously worked as a graduate assistant with the men’s basketball program at UTEP and worked with the basketball program at the University of Florida.
