Skyforce Acquires Manny Camper

The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that the team has acquired forward Manny Camper, who spent 2023 training camp with the team, from the available player pool.  

Camper, a 6-7, 205-pound forward out of Siena went undrafted in the 2021 NBA Draft. He spent the last two seasons with the Grand Rapids Gold and averaged 7.2 points on 47.3 percent shooting, 6.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.1 steals per 29.2 minutes a game in 58 appearances (34 starts). He had his best professional season as a rookie in 2021-22, where he averaged 9.5 points on 49.0 percent shooting and 8.2 rebounds per 31.0 minutes a game.

Prior to his professional career, Camper spent four seasons (2017-21) at Siena, where in 92 games (71 starts) he averaged 9.5 points on 45.7 percent shooting, 7.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists per 28.2 minutes a contest. As a senior in 2020-21, Camper averaged a career-high 14.1 points on 39.5 percent shooting and 9.7 rebounds per 37.9 minutes a game.

Camper will wear #9 for the Skyforce and is expected to be available for the team’s upcoming contest with the Wisconsin Herd on Sunday. Cheick Diallo’s departure from the team completed the transaction.
