Skyforce Acquires JC Butler

The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced the team has acquired guard JC Butler from the available player pool via roster hardship.
Butler, a 6-5, 195-pound guard from UC Irvine (Racine, WI native) went undrafted in the 2023 NBA Draft and joined the Skyforce for training camp this fall.
He appeared in 117 collegiate games (42 starts) at UC Irvine and averaged 4.0 points on 46.7 percent shooting, 1.8 rebounds, 0.6 assists and 0.5 steals per 14.4 minutes a game from 2018-23.
Butler will wear #20 for the Skyforce and is expected to be available for tonight’s contest against the Windy City Bulls at 7:30 PM CST from NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, IL.
