SKYFORCE ACQUIRE RIGHTS TO KYLOR KELLEY AND 2027 FIRST ROUND PICK

Sioux Falls, SD – The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that the team has acquired the NBA G League player rights to center Kylor Kelley and a 2027 NBA G League Draft first-round pick originally belonging to the Rip City Remix from the Coachella Valley Lakers. In exchange, Sioux Falls sent the NBA G League player rights to guard Jahmir Young to Coachella Valley.

Kelley appeared in 19 regular season games for the South Bay Lakers in 2025–26, averaging 8.3 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.3 blocks per game. The 7-foot center has played in 101 NBA G League regular season games across five seasons and has also appeared in the NBA with the Dallas Mavericks and New Orleans Pelicans.

Young earned All-NBA G League Second Team honors with Sioux Falls in 2025–26. He averaged 26.0 points, 8.9 assists and 4.6 rebounds in 25 regular season games.

Whether Kelley will join the Skyforce for the 2026–27 season has not been determined.
