SKYFORCE ACQUIRE RETURNING RIGHTS TO NATE WILLIAMS AND TYSON ETIENNE

Sioux Falls, SD – The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that the team has acquired the returning rights to Nate Williams and Tyson Etienne from the Long Island Nets in exchange for the returning rights to Dain Dainja.

Williams averaged 18.5 points, 5.9 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.8 steals in 35 NBA G League games with Long Island during the 2025–26 season before signing a two-way contract with the Golden State Warriors. He appeared in 14 NBA games for Golden State, averaging 8.0 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.0 assist.

Etienne averaged 15.8 points, 3.0 rebounds and 4.1 assists in 27 NBA G League regular-season games with Long Island during the 2025–26 season. On January 28, he became the Long Island Nets’ all-time leading scorer, reaching 1,163 points in a Nets uniform that night. He also appeared in 24 NBA games for the Brooklyn Nets in 2025–26, averaging 7.9 points, 1.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists.

Whether Williams or Etienne will join the Skyforce for the 2026–27 season has not been determined.
