SKYFORCE ACQUIRE RETURNING RIGHTS TO LESTER QUIÑONES

Sioux Falls, SD – The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that the team has acquired the returning rights to guard Lester Quiñones from the Osceola Magic as part of a four-team trade with the Magic, Windy City Bulls and Texas Legends. Sioux Falls sent the returning rights to guard Isaiah Stevens to Windy City.

Quiñones earned All-NBA G League First Team honors with Osceola in 2025–26 and was selected for the NBA G League Next Up Game. The 6-foot-5 guard has appeared in 54 NBA regular-season games with the Golden State Warriors, Philadelphia 76ers and New Orleans Pelicans, averaging 4.8 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists. He previously played in the NBA G League for the Santa Cruz Warriors, Delaware Blue Coats and Birmingham Squadron and was named the league’s Most Improved Player in 2022–23. Quiñones played college basketball at Memphis.

In the remaining portions of the trade, Windy City sent the returning rights to Kevin Knox to Osceola. The Magic sent the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NBA G League Draft to Texas, while the Legends sent the No. 3 pick to Osceola and the No. 6 pick to Windy City.

Whether Quiñones will join the Skyforce for the 2026–27 season has not been determined.
