One Minute with Jamaree Bouyea

            Rookie guard Jamaree Bouyea is Mr. Do-It-All for the Sioux Falls Skyforce this season. During the Showcase part of the season, Bouyea averaged 15.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 2.4 steals per game.

Early in the Showcase portion of the season against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, Bouyea nearly recorded a quadruple-double with 27 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists and 8 steals. Bouyea has also tallied a double-double, triple-double, and has scored double-digits in 16 games this season.

More recently, during the Showcase Cup in Las Vegas, Nevada, Bouyea showed out against the Greensboro Swarm. He tallied 20 points on 9-15 FGA, nine rebounds, four assists and four steals in 35 minutes of work.

            We sat down with the California native to learn more about the man who has filled up the stat sheet for the Skyforce this season.

Who is your biggest role model? My mom.

What is your secret talent? I’m a pretty good golfer.

What are your favorite shoes? On the court, Kobe 5’s. Off the court, Air Force 1’s.

Do you play any video games? Yes. My favorite is Call of Duty.

What is your favorite type of music? NBA YoungBoy is my favorite artist.

Do you have a favorite sport other than basketball? Football. My favorite football team is the Miami Dolphins.

What is your favorite food? Chicken alfredo.

Who is your NBA goat? LeBron James.

Do you have a favorite player in the league? James Harden.

If you weren’t playing basketball, what would you be doing? I’d be playing football. I’d be a quarterback.

What is your favorite thing about Sioux Falls? I get to see the snow a lot.
