One Minute with Jamal Cain

Molly McIntyre /December 13, 2022

Miami Heat two-way player Jamal Cain has made an extreme impact for the Skyforce this season. The rookie out of Oakland recently went back to his home state of Michigan and played his first professional game about two hours from where he was born.

In his first game back in his home state, Cain went insane. He led the Skyforce in points with 22 and flirted with a double-double with 7 rebounds. This was made possible by an extremely productive first quarter from Cain. In quarter one, Cain was perfect shooting 7-7 from the field including 2-2 from three, and scored 16 points.

We sat down with the Michigan native to learn more about the man who has hit the ground running in his first season in the NBA.
