All-Time Record: 0-0

Streak: N/A

The oldest team in the NBA G League and the newest face off this weekend at the Sanford Pentagon. It marks the first contests between the Sioux Falls Skyforce and Rip City Remix.

The Skyforce, who re-took sole possession of the best record in the NBA G League at 12-4, split a two-game series at the Iowa Wolves and dropped the finale 122-115 on Tuesday morning, as Justin Champagnie netted 33 points and grabbed 14 rebounds. HEAT two-way player RJ Hampton added 18 points, seven rebounds and six assists in the loss.

Coming into the contest, Sioux Falls has a tie for the best record in the league at home (6-1). They also continue to have the league's top scoring offense, with 122.6 (the only team in the league to average 120+ points per game).

Rip City is 2-2 in its last four games after reeling off a six-game winning streak from Jan. 7-Jan. 26. A weekend sweep would give the Remix first place in the Western Conference, as they sit 1.5 games back of the Skyforce for first place.

They beat Motor City 127-120 in a contest of 25 lead changes or ties, as newly acquired Portland Trail Blazers guard (10-day contract) Ashton Hagans netted 20 points and added 11 assists. Hagans will play in the NBA G League All-Star game with Alondes Williams and Cole Swider.

Antoine Davis will pick up the load with Hagans departure, as he's averaging 18.6 points per game. The Remix is 8-2 when he scores 18+ points.
