Sioux Falls, SD – The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today its official 2018-19 regular season schedule. The 50-game schedule features 24 home games, all to be played at the Sanford Pentagon, as well as 24 road games and two neutral games as part of the 2019 NBA G League Showcase, which will be announced at a later date.
The 30th season of Skyforce basketball will tip off on Friday, November 2 at the Sanford Pentagon as Sioux Falls hosts the Fort Wayne Mad Ants at 7:00 PM CT. Opening night at the Pentagon will be one of seven home games for the Skyforce during the month of November, offering a fast start to the campaign.
December features just four games in Sioux Falls, and includes a league-wide break in schedule for players and staff from December 24th to December 26th over Christmas. This marks just the second time in franchise history that the Skyforce have not hosted a game on Christmas Day, and the first time a Christmas Day game has not been scheduled to start the season.
In total, six Friday games, five Saturday games and five Monday games make up the bulk of the Skyforce home schedule this year, which also features games on Black Friday, New Year’s Eve and Super Bowl Sunday. Sioux Falls fans will also get a chance to see the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, Wisconsin Herd, Windy City Bulls and Grand Rapids Drive in person this year after all four Eastern Conference matchups came on the road last season.
