Sioux Falls, SD (Feb. 7, 2015) – The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that they have acquired guard Desmar Jackson. Jackson will wear number 15 for the Skyforce.

Jackson started his collegiate career at the University of Wyoming. In two seasons at Wyoming, Jackson scored 804 points. He averaged a team high 14.6 points per game as a sophomore. After his sophomore season, he transferred to Southern Illinois University. In his first season at Southern Illinois, Jackson averaged 15.1 points and 5.4 rebounds. As a senior, he became the first Southern Illinois player to lead the team in points, rebounding, assists, steals and free throws. His 18.6 points per game was the second best average in the Missouri Valley Conference and helped him earn All-Missouri Valley Conference Second Team honors.

Jackson will join the team after next week’s All-Star Break. His first game for the Skyforce will come when they host the Delaware 87ers on February 20.
