Throughout the season, we will be bringing you one-on-one interviews with valued members of #FORCENATION. Being a part of the Force Family means way more than just watching basketball games. Season ticket members build relationships with players, Skyforce staff and each other giving them a true sense of community all year long.
How long have you been a Skyforce season ticket holder?
We have been season ticket holders for seven or eight years. But we’ve been coming to games for 10 years.
What made you choose to become a part of the Sioux Falls fan base?
I have always loved basketball and to watch pro players in Sioux Falls is a dream come true.
Outside of the basketball, what is your favorite thing about attending a Skyforce game?
We’ve gotten to know a lot of season ticket holders and other fans at games. We love to see familiar faces! We enjoy the kid’s night, kid’s club, veteran’s night and special events during the holiday season. The events are great for fans.
Who do you most frequently attend games with (family, friends, co-workers, etc.)?
My wife and son love coming to the games with me.
What is your favorite Skyforce memory? Or most memorable experience?
Winning the D League championship on our home court. Another memorable moment of when my son received fan of the game and got to meet some awesome players. To be honest, all the games I have attended have great memories and I will continue to create new ones this season and the seasons to come.
If you had to choose, who would be your favorite Skyforce player?
That is impossible to answer: DeAndre Liggins, Bubu Palo, Briante Weber, Emanuel Terry, Larry Drew II, Duncan Robinson, Jarnell Stokes. I could go on for days!
