By Sioux Falls Skyforce Staff /December 7, 2021

The Skyforce will look to bounce back from a 106-99 loss on Tuesday morning in which the team held a four-point lead late in the fourth quarter. The contest also marked the seventh time this season the Skyforce have held a lead at halftime. Sioux Falls (1-8) takes on Motor City at 6:00 PM CST in Detroit in the series finale tonight.

Micah Potter continues his accelerated play the last two games, as he is averaging 24 points and 18 rebounds in that stretch. He led the Skyforce in scoring on Tuesday for the first time this season, posting a stat line of 28 points (career-high on 11-19 FGA) and 15 boards. It also marked his third double double this season, which leads the team.

Brandon Knight continued to be a leader for the Skyforce offense, as he posted 24 points, four assists and seven rebounds. It marked his fourth-straight game of 24-plus points scored and fifth time in nine games. Knight, who leads the team in minutes, has had four-plus assists in eight-of-nine games, as well.

Miami HEAT two-way player Marcus Garrett returned to the lineup after missing his last two games and posted 14 points (6-12 FGA), nine rebounds and two assists. Garrett has scored in double-figures in six-of-seven games and has had seven-plus rebounds in five games this season.

To snap their skid, the Skyforce will look to limit Detroit Pistons assignee Saben Lee (leading G League in scoring with 28.5 points per game). They were able to hold him in check the first three quarters, as he had 10 points on 4-11 FGA. He had 12-of-20 Cruise points in the final period to secure the victory.
