The Sioux Falls Skyforce comes into the game with the Grand Rapids Gold with an opportunity to be above .500 for the first time since 1/10/22.   They split a two-game back-to-back with the Windy City Bulls over the weekend and are looking to win four of the last five games.

In the finale against the Bulls, the Force hung on to a 99-94 victory, where six-of-seven players who entered the game logged 33-plus minutes.   With a victory, the Skyforce moves to 3-1 at home, the best start since the beginning of the 2018-19 season.  Mychal Mulder (224 3PM) is four makes shy of moving into the top-five in Skyforce history for all-time three-point makes.

Sioux Falls is looking to make it 10 wins in the last 11 games over Grand Rapids, which dates back to their affiliation with the Detroit Pistons. The Force is 1-1 against the Gold in the Denver Nuggets affiliated era, as they split a back-to-back last November. Javonte Smart out-dueled Lance Stephenson with 36 points in a 115-101 victory at the Sanford Pentagon on 11/13/21.

Grand Rapids is coached by 17-year NBA veteran Andre Miller. He spent parts of seven seasons with the Denver Nuggets during his career. Last year, the Gold was coached by NBA champion and 6th Man of the Year Jason "Jet' Terry.   The team also features a name familiar with Miami HEAT fans, in guard Norris Cole. In his first two seasons in the NBA, he won back-to-back titles with the HEAT in 2012 and 2013.

Following the game with the Gold, Sioux Falls hits the road on Friday for a six-day road trip, headlined by a game in Wisconsin to face the Herd and Cleveland to play the Charge.
