How long have you been a season ticket holder?
“I think we started in about 2006.”
What’s your favorite Skyforce memory?
“That is really tough. I can’t remember what game it was, but we came from way behind and ended up winning. I guess just in general, when we come from behind in the fourth quarter to take the game. Those would be my favorite moments to watch.”
Who is your favorite Skyforce player?
“DeAndre Liggins. Another one would be the center, Keith Benson. I think the reason I’ve always liked those two guys is that they’ve always paid attention to the crowd. They look you in the eye. They recognize you. It’s kind of nice. Not that the other players don’t, but those two guys have just been outstanding with that.”
What’s your favorite halftime show?
“It’s the illusionist [Reza]. The guy who will pop out of the box, and he’s got the gal with him and he throws the deal up around her and he’s taken her place. They are really good. Actually a lot of the halftime shows have really been good over the years. It’s been really fun to watch.”
What keeps you coming back year after year? What do you enjoy most about Skyforce games?
“The atmosphere. The team. Getting to know the players. It’s a combination of a lot of things. Probably the atmosphere is the most important thing. The crowd is into the game. They’re strong supporters of the Skyforce actually and I think that helps a lot. You watch some of these other games on television and all 12 of the people in the arena are keeping their mouth shut. The people are just there. We’ve got an enthusiastic crowd.”
How do you usually use your season tickets?
“My wife and I go, and we very rarely miss a game. We rarely miss.”
Why might you tell someone else to become a Skyforce season ticket holder?
“Oh I think it’s just an excellent way to support the Skyforce. When you get close to 1800 season ticket holders as your core group of fans, I think that’s pretty good. I think that’s part of being a season ticket holder, is that you support the entire organization in that way.”
