FORMER SKYFORCE PLAYERS FILL NBA TRAINING CAMP ROSTERS

Sioux Falls, SD – The Sioux Falls Skyforce announced today that 15 former players are on 2017-18 NBA training camp rosters, including 12 players who have played at least one game in Sioux Falls within the last three seasons.

In addition to players who have donned a Skyforce uniform in the past, there is one player in particular that will be wearing one in the near future. Derrick Walton Jr. signed a two-way contract with the Miami HEAT and will split time between Sioux Falls and Miami this season, able to spend a maximum of 45 days in the NBA.

The NBA regular season tips off on Tuesday, October 17, with a double header on TNT. The Cleveland Cavaliers will take on the Boston Celtics, followed by the Golden State Warriors taking on the Houston Rockets. The Miami HEAT will open the season on Wednesday, October 18 in Orlando against the Orlando Magic at 6:00 PM CT.
